App license

When obtained through the App Store, Encrypt My Data is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different license is expressly presented in the App Store listing. This page does not introduce a separate custom EULA.

Purchases

The app is free to download and holds up to 50 items for free. Encrypt My Data Pro removes that limit and lets you keep more than one vault; every other feature is part of the free version. Pro is sold in the app as a yearly auto-renewable subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price, in your local currency, is shown in the App Store before you buy.

The subscription renews automatically each year at the price then in effect until you cancel it. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your Apple Account's subscription settings; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Both purchases are made through Apple and charged to your Apple Account, and both can be shared through Family Sharing. Use Restore purchases in the app to get Pro back on another iPhone. If you bought the app when it was a paid download, Pro is included at no extra cost. See Apple's refund process for purchase-related requests.

If a subscription ends or a purchase is refunded, nothing in your vault is deleted, hidden or locked. You can still read, edit and export everything; only adding new items stops while the vault holds 50 or more.

Your vault and backups

You choose what to store and share. Keep your master password safe and maintain backups appropriate to your needs. We cannot reset your master password, read your local vault or restore information without an accessible copy and the correct password.

Check backup contents after restoring and retain the original until you have verified the result. Sharing unencrypted information makes it available to the selected destination. Encryption cannot prevent every risk, including a compromised device, information you reveal or recipient handling.

Requirements and updates

The app requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Future updates may change supported system versions or features; changes will be described in release information. These statements do not waive any obligation to provide updates or remedies required by applicable law.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains local app data, optional exports and AutoFill, website requests and support emails. There is no app account to create and no consent to marketing is required to use the vault.
