Encrypt My Data
What's new
Last updated: 2026-10-25
What has changed in each version of Encrypt My Data. Security fixes are described without details that could put people on older versions at risk. Keep the app updated through the App Store.
Version 1.1
2026-10-25
- Free to download. Keep up to 100 items for free, with every feature included. Pro removes the limit, as a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase. If you bought the app when it was a paid download, Pro is already included. See prices.
- Videos. Add videos to your albums from the camera in the app, Photos or Files. They are encrypted as they are imported and play straight from the encrypted file. More about photos and videos.
- Unlock pattern. Draw a pattern on a 4×4 grid as an optional shortcut beside Face ID and the PIN. You can hide the pattern while you draw it.
- Larger shares and backups. Encrypted shares and backup files now handle large files such as videos. Encrypted shares made with this version, and backups that contain videos, need this version or later to open.
